Martin Grimshaw

Martin is a highly experienced geophysicist with over 35 years of experience in the UK energy sector, including significant geoscience and leadership appointments with CGG and PetroTrace prior to joining RTS.

With deep technical expertise and experience of Time and Depth processing, particularly with Onshore projects, Martin has developed advanced methodologies to process the increasingly high-density land surveys, as well as embracing and testing new technologies, such as FWI.

Equally at home re-processing 2D & 3D Legacy datasets, Martin incorporates more advanced processing technologies to the sequence.

Martin continues to be motivated by jobs where the learning process never stops – whether it be adopting fast-moving technology innovations or simply embracing new ideas to drive project delivery efficiencies.

Always happy to share his knowledge, Martin actively mentors the new generation of geophysicists in RTS, focusing on the technical and QC aspects of their work.

Outside of work, Martin enjoys walking and cycling in the Sussex countryside where he lives.
