Breaking Boundaries: Realtimeseismic wins the ‘Innovation & Diversification’ award!

On 14 November 2024, Realtimeseismic (RTS) proudly won the ‘Innovation & Diversification’ category in the 2024 “Stars of the Economy” awards in France.

This award category, kindly sponsored by the Communities of Larq-Orthez, recognises the entrepreneurial, innovative achievements of French companies and celebrates the dynamic economy of the Pyrenees Atlantique department.

Attended by over 500 people, the glittering evening award ceremony was held at the beautiful Palais Beaumont in Pau, France.

Our RTS France team based in Pau showed up in force on the night to enjoy the festivities and help celebrate the outstanding initiatives both within RTS and across our diverse local economy.

“We are really proud to have become a recognized, major player in providing services that support energy transition for Europe and our broader world.” said Dr Claudio Strobbia, CEO of Realtimeseismic (RTS).

“Diversification is very important to us – since RTS was founded in 2016, we have worked hard to adapt the technologies and scientific methods traditionally used in the Oil & Gas sector, to apply them in new, improved ways that help accelerate renewable energy projects.

Innovation is our DNA – we live it every day.  Our geophysics teams collaborate to apply their expert curiosity and passion for excellence in ways that provide a competitive advantage to our customer’s natural resource projects.” said Claudio.

Rudy Secundino, RTS Chief Financial Officer, accepted the award on behalf of RTS CEO Dr Strobbia at the award ceremony as Claudio was away on business commitments in Australia.

“This award underlines the incredible work carried out by the RTS team under Claudio’s leadership.” said Mr Secundino.

“Being agile, innovative and passionately pushing our limits are core values we actively live by. Our challenge is to maintain these fundamental values as RTS grows – we aim to increase our workforce to 50 by the end of 2025.

We’re proud to be creating these jobs in the Greater Pau area, including taking delivery of new 600 m² offices in March 2025. Our change of scale has begun!” explained Rudy.
